"Kashmir" usually means Muzaffarabad or the Neelum Valley. There is no direct Faisal Movers bus; go to Islamabad first and connect.
"Lahore to Kashmir" usually means a trip to Muzaffarabad, the Neelum Valley or Rawalakot in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmir is a region, not a single city, and on the Faisal Movers city list we checked we did not find Muzaffarabad or another AJK town as a destination.
This page explains the practical way to make the trip with Faisal Movers for the first part, and what to do after that.

Take any Lahore to Islamabad departure that reaches the twin cities by early afternoon, so you can continue to Muzaffarabad in daylight. Local coaches to AJK leave from Rawalpindi (Pir Wadhai area) and Faizabad through the day.
After the M-2 to the twin cities, the road to Muzaffarabad goes either via Murree and Kohala Bridge, or via the Hazara Motorway to Abbottabad and Mansehra and then Garhi Habibullah. Both include mountain stretches. The Neelum Valley road beyond Muzaffarabad is narrow and can close after snow or landslides.
On the Murree route, the coach climbs from Islamabad through Murree and down to Kohala, where a bridge over the Jhelum marks the entry into AJK; the road then follows the river to Muzaffarabad. On the Abbottabad route, the coach uses the Hazara Motorway to Mansehra, then crosses into AJK near Garhi Habibullah.
Both routes have tea stops and viewpoints; the Kohala bridge area is a popular stop.
Board the Faisal Movers bus at Abdullah Travels, Band Road, Lahore. In the twin cities, see our Rawalpindi terminal guide and Pir Wadhai bus stop guide for onward transport.
Islamabad/Rawalpindi with Faisal Movers, then onward by local coach or van to Muzaffarabad or other AJK towns
For the Lahore to Islamabad leg, any class is comfortable on the motorway. Save your energy for the second leg: local coaches and vans to AJK are smaller and less comfortable, and the road is winding. If you get travel sick, sit near the front of the van.
April to October is the best time to visit Muzaffarabad and the Neelum Valley. Monsoon rain in July and August can cause landslides. From December to March the upper Neelum Valley is often snowbound, and some roads close.
Muzaffarabad, the capital of AJK, sits where the Neelum and Jhelum rivers meet. It is the gateway to the Neelum Valley (Keran, Sharda, Kel, Arang Kel), Pir Chinasi and Rawalakot further south.
In Muzaffarabad, local taxis and vans are the main transport. For the Neelum Valley, shared jeeps and vans leave from the city; hiring a car for several days is common for families. Carry cash and your CNIC, and check road conditions before going beyond Keran.
FaisalMoversBooking.com does not sell tickets. You can book in four official ways:
Step-by-step help: How to book a Faisal Movers ticket.
Fake "Faisal Movers booking" numbers and WhatsApp accounts are common on social media. They take an advance payment by JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer and never issue a ticket. Buy only through the official website, the Bookkaru app, the UAN 111-22-44-88 or a terminal counter, and never share an OTP, PIN or card number with a caller.
When travelling with children or elderly relatives, choose seats near the front (less motion, quicker exit at stops), carry snacks and medicines in hand luggage, and ask the hostess for help at the boarding door if someone needs assistance with steps.
We did not find an AJK city on the Faisal Movers destination list in October 2026. Travel to Islamabad or Rawalpindi first and take a local coach.
About 8 to 10 hours, including the change in the twin cities.
Mainly from the Pir Wadhai area in Rawalpindi and from Faizabad.
Both work. The Murree–Kohala road is shorter; the Hazara Motorway route is smoother for most of the way.
