Bus timings

No published fixed timetable. Day and night departures are usually available; see faisalmovers.com for your date.

The route

The bus takes the M-2 south to Pindi Bhattian and joins the M-4, passing Faisalabad, Gojra and Abdul Hakeem before reaching Multan. There is normally one service-area stop.

Along the way: stops and landmarks

From the twin cities, the bus follows the M-2 south past Chakri and the Salt Range near Kallar Kahar, with a common stop at the Bhera service area. At Pindi Bhattian it turns onto the M-4, which passes Faisalabad, Gojra and Toba Tek Singh's side and Abdul Hakeem before reaching Multan.

The M-4 is one of the straightest and smoothest motorways in Pakistan, with service areas at regular intervals. The approach to Multan passes mango orchards, especially noticeable in June and July.

Boarding and arrival points

Boarding in Islamabad

Board at the Faisal Movers terminal on Ghazali Road, GT Road, Islamabad (UAN 051-111-22-44-88). In Multan the bus arrives near Vehari Chowk (UAN 061-111-22-44-88).

Choosing the right class

Premium Plus is comfortable for a daytime trip on motorways. On night buses, Business (about Rs 3,500) gives more recline and is worth the difference if you need to sleep. Travelling with family? Book early so you can sit together.

If you only need Faisalabad, a cheaper ticket to Faisalabad may be available; see our Islamabad to Faisalabad guide.

Best time to travel

October to March is ideal, though December and January can bring fog on the M-2 and M-4 at night. Multan is extremely hot from May to August, so a night bus that arrives early in the morning is the most comfortable option in summer.

Arriving in Multan: getting around

Multan is one of the oldest cities in South Asia, known for its Sufi shrines (Bahauddin Zakariya, Shah Rukn-e-Alam), blue pottery and mangoes. Faisal Movers is headquartered here.

The terminal near Vehari Chowk is on the eastern side of Multan. Rickshaws and ride-hailing cars reach the Cantt, Bosan Road and the old city in 15 to 25 minutes. The Multan Metrobus is a cheap option along the main north–south corridor.

Step-by-step help: How to book a Faisal Movers ticket.

Before you travel: quick checklist

  • Original CNIC (B-Form for children). It must match the name on the ticket.
  • Ticket on your phone: keep the SMS or e-ticket screenshot; mobile data can be weak at terminals.
  • Reach early: 30 minutes before departure, 45 minutes on Eid and long weekends.
  • Luggage: label your bag; keep medicines, chargers and valuables in your hand bag.

Tips for this route

  • Night buses reach Multan early in the morning; mornings are cooler in summer.
  • Business seats are worth it on night buses.
  • Ask whether the bus stops in Faisalabad if you need to get off there.

Safety, scams and family travel

Fake "Faisal Movers booking" numbers and WhatsApp accounts are common on social media. They take an advance payment by JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer and never issue a ticket. Buy only through the official website, the Bookkaru app, the UAN 111-22-44-88 or a terminal counter, and never share an OTP, PIN or card number with a caller.

When travelling with children or elderly relatives, choose seats near the front (less motion, quicker exit at stops), carry snacks and medicines in hand luggage, and ask the hostess for help at the boarding door if someone needs assistance with steps.
