The bus travels via the M-3/M-4 to Multan, the M-5 to Sukkur and then south on the N-5 or the M-9 approach to Hyderabad. The Sukkur to Hyderabad section has heavy truck traffic and is the slowest part.
The bus heads south on the M-3/M-4 to Multan, often with a stop at a motorway service area. After Multan it runs the full length of the M-5 to Sukkur, a modern motorway with service areas where most buses make a long meal and prayer stop. South of Sukkur, the road passes Khairpur, Moro and Nawabshah's side before reaching Hyderabad.
This last section has heavy truck traffic and fewer service areas, so take water and snacks before Sukkur.
Board at Abdullah Travels, Band Road, Lahore. In Hyderabad the bus may stop at a bypass point rather than the city centre; ask when booking.

For an overnight trip of this length, many passengers prefer a sleeper berth or the best seat class available. The extra cost buys proper rest, which matters if you have work or family commitments the next day. Economy-type seats are fine for passengers who sleep easily sitting up.
See our sleeper bus guide for the difference between upper and lower berths.
November to February is the most comfortable time to travel to Sindh. Summer temperatures in interior Sindh often pass 45°C, so make sure your bus has working air-conditioning and carry plenty of water. Before Eid and school holidays, buses towards Hyderabad and Karachi fill up several days in advance.
Hyderabad is Sindh's second-largest city, known for its bangles, Sindhi culture and historic sites such as Pakka Qila and the Talpur tombs. It is about two hours from Karachi by motorway.
If your bus stops on the bypass or near the motorway, use a ride-hailing app or a rickshaw to reach the city. Auto Bhan Road, Latifabad and Qasimabad are the main residential areas, each 15 to 30 minutes from most bypass points. For onward travel to interior Sindh, local coaches leave from the city's main bus stands.

Fake "Faisal Movers booking" numbers and WhatsApp accounts are common on social media. They take an advance payment by JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer and never issue a ticket. Buy only through the official website, the Bookkaru app, the UAN 111-22-44-88 or a terminal counter, and never share an OTP, PIN or card number with a caller.
When travelling with children or elderly relatives, choose seats near the front (less motion, quicker exit at stops), carry snacks and medicines in hand luggage, and ask the hostess for help at the boarding door if someone needs assistance with steps.
